The grandchildren of the Sahunet and Delugin families opted to specialize in viticulture in the middle of the 1970s creating Château Les Pasquets. The property is located in Daubèze in Gironde and is 62 acres (25 hectares).TERROIR & VINTAGE NOTES
Situated in the South West near the Atlantic, the Château it is crossed by the rivers Garonne and Dordogne and enjoys a temperate maritime climate. The clay and limestone soils along with the tide, which flows up both of the region's rivers, brings very specific characteristics to the wines.WINEMAKING
Immediately after harvesting, the grapes go through a period of maceration that lasts between 9 and 18 hours in stainless steel vats at a temperature of 15°C – 18°C, to extract the maximum flavor. Then the alcoholic fermentation takes place on fine lees.TASTING NOTES
With a pale straw yellow color with green hues and a fresh, pure bouquet with refreshing citrus and floral aromas, this wine is very elegant. Les Pasquets Entre-Deux-Mers is a wine with crisp acidity and lots of good structure with a lingering finish. This wine could be served with starters, fish or seafood. Also perfect with barbeque grilled pork, charcuterie platters, grilled sardines, onion dishes and pesto pasta.
