The grapes were sourced from several locations in the provinces of Florence and Sienna, located 328 to 656 feet above sea level. Maceration of 10 days, followed by fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for five months.
The wine is aged in french oak barrels for 12 months.Tasting Notes
Deep and ruby red color. Intense and fruity notes of ripe red fruits and sweet spices. Strong personality, harmonious structure and well complexed tannins, with a long finish.
With a complex aroma of cherries, wild blackberries and spices, this is a versatile and very drinkable wine to complement many dishes and to capture the heart. Pairs well with red meats, seasoned pecorino cheese and Fiorentina steak.
