The roasted slope -- Côte-Rôtie has very steep mica schist terraces from both Côte Blonde (with more silicate) and Côte Brune (with more iron) soil slopes. Magic and eternal, “La Divine” combines the intensity and freshness of Syrah with the floral-driven Viognier to produce a truly divine wine!WINEMAKING
Only free run juice is used as the wine undergoes 3 weeks of post maceration at 86°F.AGING
The wine is matured 18 months in oak barrels (15% new, 85% in 1 to 3 year old) and then fined using egg white prior to bottling, but is unfiltered.TASTING NOTES
Deep ruby red color. Superb smoky nose of exotic spices and jammy black fruit. Dense flavors prevail; a very complex, concentrated wine. A first-rate pairing with lamb dishes, chicken tagine, and game birds.WINEMAKER
